# Importing content

Source: https://helpcenterkit.com/docs/en/importing-content

Open *Import* in your knowledge base. Imports run in the background; you can leave the page.

| From | How |
| --- | --- |
| Document360 | API token (Settings → API tokens in Document360), or a ZIP export |
| Zendesk Guide | Your subdomain; add an API token for restricted articles |
| Confluence Cloud | Site, email, API token and space key; or an HTML export ZIP |
| Notion | Integration token and the root page; or a Markdown & CSV export ZIP |
| GitBook | API token and space ID; or a Git/Markdown export ZIP |
| Anything else | A ZIP of Markdown or HTML files, folders become categories |

## What is kept

Headings, lists, tables, code blocks, callouts, images and attachments (uploaded into your media library), internal links, and category structure. Old help-center paths redirect to the new articles where we can tell the original URL.

## Draft or publish

Choose whether imported articles are published straight away or kept as drafts for review. The import report lists every warning, for example an image that wasn't in the export.
