Answers for readers
On the portal and in the widget, readers can ask a question in their own words. The AI:
- searches your published articles (it never uses drafts or the open internet),
- writes a short answer in English,
- cites the sections it used as numbered links
[1],[2], - says it doesn't know when your articles don't cover the question. Those questions go to Analytics → Content gaps so you can write the missing article.
Readers can rate each answer. AI answers run on Surge's own AI server at no charge, with no monthly cap that switches them off.

Answer quality dashboard
Analytics → AI quality shows how often the AI could answer, how many answers had citations, thumbs up and down, and the top unanswered questions.
