- What does it cost?
- HelpCenterKit itself costs nothing. If you use something that a third party charges us for, you pay exactly what it costs us, with no markup. Today that is only the optional Claude add-on for reading screenshots.
- Is it free forever?
- We don't promise that. Paid plans may come later; if they do, we will tell you well in advance and this page will say so first.
- Is the AI free?
- Yes. AI answers, writing and translation run on Surge's own AI server, which is not a third-party cost.
- How will I know what I owe?
- Workspace → Billing shows every metered call, its tokens and its cost. Nothing is charged until you pay a balance, and balances under $1.00 carry over.
- How does this compare with Document360?
- Document360 is quote-only; its last published list prices were about $199 (Professional), $299 (Business) and $499 (Enterprise) per project per month, plus add-ons.
